RE: Why do I have to wait for a group moderator?

Bill,

To be a member of this group and be able to email to it at all. I must
first
submit to the group and receive approval from a moderator. Isn't this the
spam blocking area.
If I spam, remove me from the group.

However, once I am approved, I should be able to freely conduct
conversations with the group at a reasonable rate. Yet I'm not. This is now
moderator censoring my every word, not spam blocking

Waiting 7 hours for my email to be approved, when I have already been
accepted as a member is my concern.

It makes it bloody hard to have a conversation with the group, with seven
hour submission times between each side of the conversation.

Regards,

Neil Wrightson.

Gee, what a shame. Moderators taking their time and effort to help block
spam. Others writing software and giving it away for free. Meanwhile the
impatient bitch and moan.

Spam is a hassle. Moderating is about the only way to cut down on the
TREMENDOUS amount of hit-and-run spam to mailing lists. Lots of mailing
lists are run this way. It works QUITE well.
