Sounds like a plan!

Vera 2 is essentially the same as Vera Lite and 3, just an older version,
s=
lower processor with less flash and ram. I=E2=80=99m pushing my 2 to the
l=
imit currently so really need to upgrade to a 3 when funds are available!

The plugin I knocked up was for exactly that reason =E2=80=93 to get
Z-Wave=
onto xAP.....as I=E2=80=99m migrating away as much as possible from older =
X10, HomeEasy, etc I needed to be able to still maintain all my logic and
c=
ontrol layers in xAP Floorplan (which is still doing a great job!)

Will be good to try your version, I=E2=80=99ll just need to work out a way
=
to leave mine in place as well, or maybe merge aspects of the two
=E2=80=93=
I suspect we=E2=80=99ll probably have used different addressing and UIDs -=
i.e. yours will be =E2=80=9Ccorrect=E2=80=9D and mine will be bodged=20

The plugin currently works the other way around to yours, discovering xAP=
BSC devices (that match a filter) and auto creating matching Vera devices.=
It doesn't expose the existing Vera devices to xAP reporting / control bu=
t I don't think that would be difficult to add and is obviously a useful
th=
ing to do as it would allow Vera device types to become xAP enabled.. an
e=
asy path to Z-Wave via xAP for example.

My memory gets worse ! I see that I have already coded this and it seems
to=
be working ! I just tried it on a Z-Wave Fibraro dimmer and it reports a=
nd is controllable from xAP.
It's about 6 months ago since I wrote this so I have a bit of an excuse I=
guess.

Looks like I can get this to you quickly Martyn... assuming no Vera 2 /
Ve=
ra 3 compatibility issues.
