Surprisingly, the C-Bus protocol and firmware libraries are pretty much=20
open source now. We have successfully written C code using GCC in Linux to=
=20
make use of some of the firmware library functions. We even discovered
an=20
"index off by one" bug that we have fixed and fed back to
Clipsal.

The idea of a native (still needs a PCI, CNI or SIM) C-Bus to X-10, say,=20
gateway is achievable.
