Yes - another one hit here too. I use it on Squeezebox and the PCs so
am an actual subscriber to the service. Not that I'll ask for a refund.

My first reaction was exactly as above. My father in law live and has
a business in the US... could just piggy back on that perhaps. Maybe
not but if someone finds a way do tell.

The thing that is completely barking with the licensing thing is that
I've never downloaded music illegally. But with Pandora, I've bought
loads of new stuff. When I hear new groups I like, I've looked into
them and then gone and bought the CD on-line. It really opens you to
new stuff you would never otherwise hear. I'd guess my purchasing of
music went up 10 fold last year (judging by the stack of cds to go
into the loft when I can get around to it).

Now the legitimate UK music industry is going to suffer because I wont
be making these purchases and wont be introduced to new music.
Personally, I don't listen to other music radio (I'm an inveterate
Radio 4 listener otherwise) because I generally find it irritating
(commercials). So in the end, the artists really do suffer a loss of
income - in my case its probably some of the lesser bands that suffer
most because there's no way I'll hear about them now.

Makes you less inclined to play fair in the end.
