Yeah, that seems high...

according to the wee Maplin power meter, my server takes 145W -=20
pretty chunky.=20

This calculator: http://www.ukpower.co.uk/running-costs-elec.asp=20
makes that =A39.50 a month, or =A3114 a year.

I reckon it's the disc that takes the most power - where a NAS (or=20
WHS) would really gain is if it can intelligently spin down discs etc=20
as they became idle..
