Not sure about free windows based software, but Google Apps is free
with 6Gb mail storage.
It allows you to use your own mail domain, dns management, and hence urls.
So your mail server is known as mail.yourdomain.com (but really goes to
google)
Your webmail/pop/imail server is known as webmail.yourdomain.com (or
whatever you want)
You get a website too if you want.
No affiliation, I just set one up for a friend, and was very impressed.
