Depends what kind of fish you want - if it's the more colourful reef
(salt water) fish, you need to do a LOT of research as there's a huge
amount to learn. You also have to add the fish very slowly (something like
4-6 weeks before 1st fish goes in and then 1-2 every few weeks). Otherwise
the ammonia they create poisons them! Fresh water are generally more
forgiving and easier to care for. Need to think carefully as any tank will
need regular maintenance and care - can be difficult when going on hols in
a hot summer.
