RE: Re: Visonic PowerMax+ System

Depends what specific problem you are trying to solve?

X10?

Initially I managed to get the X10 working on the VP1000, but the delay was
too slow as it was via a XM10 then CM10 to HA PC. This was replaced with a
rfxcom, that 'solved' the HA integration to VP1000, as the HA PC (Homeseer)
now knows the state of the alarm, and activity from PIRs, etc. See mini
review on automatedhome site.

Programming?

I bought a X10/programmer kit from Intamac at a SmartHome show, this allows
the configuration to be changed using the Visonic software via a rs232
Powermax+ adapter. Not sure if they are still selling these.

Alternative monitoring service?

I think Intamac provide an alternative more integrated monitoring service
via their 'Home Manager' product, check with them, but their website
indicates this.

Wayne, your 'name/from' field in your hotmail account is a bit strange ?
