[OT] Way OT - Lawn Treatment Woes - AVOID GREENTHUMB

Just a warning for anyone tempted to use the Lawn Treatment People

mb. Don't!  They have a "you didn't cancel, so we did the work"
policy. =

They did an hours work on my lawn and charged me =A3180 - When I
complained=
to say I hadn't authorised it I was told I hadn't stopped it so I had to p=
ay.  When I told them I hadn't received a quote they told me I was a liar.

I tried talking to the head of the franchise and the head office, but got =
nowhere - despite offering to pay =A3100 as a settlement I was told to pay
=
up.  a few weeks later a debt collector contacted me and threatened me
with=
court and a CCJ if I didn't pay in 5 days.  My wife was suffering with the=
stress, so I paid.

It is now my mission to prevent other unfortunate individuals going the
sam=
e way, so I am putting out this notice.  I have all the E-mails and
documen=
tation if anyone in interested in following the details of the case, or
che=
cking the veracity of my claim.

DON'T USE GREENTHMB - YOU MIGHT REGRET IT!
