Just a warning for anyone tempted to use the Lawn Treatment People
GreenThumb. Don't!  They have a "you didn't cancel, so we did the
work"

They did an hours work on my lawn and charged me =A3180 - When I
complained=
to
say I hadn't authorised it I was told I hadn't stopped it so I had to pay.
When I told them I hadn't received a quote they told me I was a liar.  I
tried talking to the head of the franchise and the head office, but got
nowhere - despite offering to pay =A3100 as a settlement I was told to pay
=
up.
a few weeks later a debt collector contacted me and threatened me with
cour=
t
and a CCJ if I didn't pay in 5 days.  My wife was suffering with the
stress=
,
so I paid.

It is now my mission to prevent other unfortunate individuals going the
sam=
e
way, so I am putting out this notice.  I have all the E-mails and
documentation if anyone in interested in following the details of the case,
or checking the veracity of my claim.

DON'T USE GREENTHMB - YOU MIGHT REGRET IT!
