RE: RGB Cable advice + Xbox 360
The issue with my plasma is that its rather old and therefore only has
RGB
HV input or VGA (which I'm using for MCE). The Xbox only outputs on
component or composite.

Certainly my Panny PHD8 allows you to select what type of RGB you want on
the input - RGBHV, RGBS, or RGsB

It is possible to convert YUV to RGB but reasonable quality convertors
are expensive(ish).
Try Mr Sims or Keene - a free catalog via Automated Home for the latter
even !
eg
http://www.keene.
<http://www.keene.co.uk/electronics/multi.php?mycode=C2RGB>
co.uk/electronics/multi.php?mycode=C2RGB
sure there's a few others on this site too....
I don't know anything about that particular plasma but occasionally
displays with limited connectivity share their inputs between YUV and
RGB - worth checking. Alternatively you could sacrifice quality and
use one of the other output formats that your plasma will support eg
S-Video or VGA - the latter you could just plugin in with the HD VGA lead.
