RE: RGB Cable advice + Xbox 360

Strange thing is when I just tried plugging the component output from
the
Xbox 360 into the RGB inputs on the plasma I get a picture, its just mostly
green for some reason!

There is no S-video on the plasma and the VGA is being used for MCE.

It is possible to convert YUV to RGB but reasonable quality convertors
are expensive(ish).
Try Mr Sims or Keene - a free catalog via Automated Home for the latter
even !
eg
http://www.keene.
<http://www.keene.co.uk/electronics/multi.php?mycode=C2RGB>
co.uk/electronics/multi.php?mycode=C2RGB
sure there's a few others on this site too....

I don't know anything about that particular plasma but occasionally
displays with limited connectivity share their inputs between YUV and
RGB - worth checking. Alternatively you could sacrifice quality and
use one of the other output formats that your plasma will support eg
S-Video or VGA - the latter you could just plugin in with the HD VGA lead.
