Ceiling Speakers - Advice Needed

Being the tight old git that I am I'd be interested to know what
difference
in sound quality there is between ceiling speakers like the Russounds at
well over £100 a pair and those from say CPC at around half the price
or
less.
Being an old git obviously excludes me from hearing any very high
frequencies anyway so would the Russounds be wasted on me, especially as
they will only be used for background music/radio etc.
