One man's meat is another man's poison?

This came up an another list that I'm on and I'd be interested to know
if
anybody who's using Powerline Ethernet has experienced any problems?
There's little doubt in my mind that these type of devices may be a boon to
a small group of people but they are equally likely to cause a lot of
problems for another group.

=================================================

The radio spectrum is threatened by use of the mains to provide internet
access (BPL) and recent developments in Home Networking which use the mains
to
distribute TV pictures around the house (essentially a replacement for 2.4
GHz
Video Senders)

These devices spew out pollution right across the whole spectrum. I believe
that if
Mains Home Networking becomes widespread it will destroy Short Wave
Listening.
