Jim,

Could have been me (I have the 42PX60). Got a great deal through Currys,
using various coupons, Quidco -:)

Have been very pleased with it (as have the rest of the family) and no
signs
of the problems that others have reported. Picture is better than on the
32"
Sony 100hz big heavy beast that it has replaced and I always thought that
was good. I'm not any sort of AV junkie though so I'm not into all the
technicalities and subtleties... Just like the picture!

Subject: [ukha_d] Panasonic PX60 plasma questions

Whilst searching for a good price on the Panasonic 37PX60 last week, I came
across a thread on the avforum about screen colour banding problems on some
of the units. Seems to manifest itself as "purple snakes" across
other
colours and darker areas of the picture.

Whilst there were a lot of posts from a small number of people (the thread
runs to 110+ pages!!) I'm not sure if it is a widespread problem or not.

Does anyone on there have experience of the panel (I seem to recall someone
around Christmas saying they were buying one) and have they seen any
problems?

Thanks.

Jim
