I used SID Deluxe Installer (from a torrent off Piratebay) to softmod.

The XBMC release is available from the XBMC ftp site.. or from Piratebay.

although these tend to be pimped).

As for installing.. there is no install as such just copy the directory
(xb=
mc) into the E:\Apps folder

I have softmodded one set to auto boot the xbmc dash so it comes on
automat=
ically with XBMC.

Maybe slightly risky but what image are people installing and from where?
I've found a couple of svn releases of xbmc on thepiratebay but I've had no
luck installing it from there. I have an older boot cd that worked but the
version of xbmc on there is pretty old.
