PPC based Mac Mini to firewire hub, firewire hub to 2 x single drive
external firewire enclosures + 3 x big 8 x 5.25" bay IDE to firewire
enclosures and 26 mixed IDE and SATA drives of between 160Gb and 1Tb each.
Has been running *PERFECTLY* for God knows how long - has to be at least
three years - without missing a beat!
I just use sharepoints to publish multiple shares out onto my network and
it
also runs Schelte Bron's OSX build of HomevisionXL HomeVision software (via
a Lantronix MSS-100 ethernet to serial adapter as the Mac Mini has no
serial
ports), SlimServer, FTP etc.
