Re: Which Linux version should I install?
I would recommend Ubuntu. It's based on Debian and is pretty easy to
configure and use. The package manager allows installation of additional
(free) software without problems.
Ubuntu comes with the Gnome GUI, but if you don't like that there is
Kubuntu which has the KDE GUI instead.Both are OK, but each has it's
evangelists.
I use Ubuntu as my file and print server for my Windows network, plus
web server, MythTV server and a few other things
