I'd try Ubuntu Neil.

Subject: [ukha_d] Which Linux version should I install?

I've just freed up a PC. Spec is as follows

P4 2 GHz
512MB RAM
200GB HDD

I don't currently have a use for it as a Windoze box so I though I might
install Linux and have a play.

My question is, which Linux distribution should I go for?

Needs to be free and Newbie friendly.

I know there are a few Linux evangelists on here and I'm sure they must
have view on this . . . . . .

TIA

Neil
