HDD PVR for use with Sky...

My folks have decided they want a HDD PVR with DVD writer to use with Sky
... They don't want Sky + as they don't want to run an extra LNB feed to
their lounge nor do they want to pay the extra each month for the
subscription.
Anyone know of any HDD/DVD PVRs that can control Sky boxes themselves? I
know that TiVo can and I could give them my TiVo (which I no longer use)

again there's then the =A310 a month sub or =A3200 for a lifetime sub.
