I wired all my cbus cat5 cables back to a node 0 patch panel and daisy
chain them with short patch leads. This has been useful for
troubleshooting and means that if I need to replace a cbus switch with
something else I have cat5 to the switch.

In total I have about 3km of cat5 cable and still missed out on some
bits.
