BBC- News story - domestic wind power

Interesting article on the BBC site. SWMBO works for CIS so sent it to
me
CIS are currently putting wind turbines and solar panels on its head office
building..

Shame the article doesn't actually go as far as giving people links and
prices,
but it certainly shows that these things are coming to the public
attention.

Personally I'd install a wind turbine today if I could only figure out how
to
apply for a "clear skies" grant and I could sell the electricity
back to the
national grid.

Seems to me that the daft part about these grants are that they only apply
to official installers.. i.e. the installer can simply increase his fitting
price to absorb the grant and you still end up paying the actual cost... or
am I just being cynical ?
