I'll have a browse around there as I wasn't previously aware of any
"extra" stuff for the Terastation.

I'm basically at the same point - wanting to build a 750Mb+ server as
I wanted a NAS + MythTV backend etc...

I was going to use a low spec motherboard (Mini-ITX even) with 4 SATA
ports to do software RAID5 but if the Terastation's OS has been
"opened" then I might just go with that instead.

Is there a version without disks? All the Terastations I've seen
advertised come with disks...
