Chris,

I'd love to learn a bit more on the background of your home cinema. Do you
have children? What's your average TV viewing usage and where is this
viewed?

Darren

'was going to include a home-cinema in our build ... 'even had plans ...
now we've decided it would be a bad idea, because it's not often we want
to watch the same films ... so, what to do ? !

At the moment, we play DVDs on our 'Macs - 'works well, good colour
rendition, good sound, and reasonably convenient to control . Somehow,
using DVD players sounds more sensible ... 'less expensive, and
optimised for the task ... but when I've used them, on 'planes, they've
not actually been as-good ... so, what to do ? !

On top of which, the core-resolution of DVDs is not that great , do
projectors & cinema-displays really make that much sense ???

'confused & indecisive ... !

Chris.
