Found a link here http://www.michiganwireless.org/tools/Netstumbler/
Also found a forum that said ver 0.4.0 should work but can be a bit
unstable
they recommend running it for a while to see if it runs ok. But sure you
might as well use ver 0.3.30 since its avaible.

Rob,

Not sure what backup software you're running, but if you're running
an incremental backup, it should only pick up files which have
changed since last backup, in which case you'd be fine if all you've
done is play a file.

The other thing you could do is just leave the drive waiting to
insert another tape for a day or two (I'm not sure why you want to
span it over a few days).

I have the 32" version of the Sharp - the 32GA4E (so mine has the
speakers
at the sides). It has a native panel resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and I
just got my three year warranty paperwork through. Be aware that the three
year warranty was a limited time offer which has now expired and it's the
normal 12 months warranty now (anyway - the GA3/GA4 series LCDs are rare as
rocking horse sh*t now). I paid £1379 for it.

LOOKS FECKING STUNNING DRIVEN BY THE HTPC!!!!

Saying that is just asking for a 6 hr cut

I have had issues with powerheads burning out when running on inverter
power

before, ended up with them so they wouldnt start reliably unless I gave
them
a
thump. Im assuming one of the coils burned out.

I am thinking of running some 2.5mm cable to each aquaruim location back to
a
cental location and getting a big 3kva ups for it sometime...

Possibly, but as far as im aware the linksys with the sveasoft firmware is
the
only that will do spanning tree with bridging, the others requre you make
sure
that you dont set up any circular bridging so you may run into issues if
you
get
more then 1 hanging off the AP in the draytek, and thats if it even works
at
all.

WDS is only standardised as far as the actual transmitted frames, the
attaching
to another AP to set the link up is not, that is why you have to put a
remote
bridge mac address in on most accesspoints. Sveasofts firmware has an
easywds
that seems to set some of it up for you, but I have not tried that as I
only

have one wrt54gs accesspoint, and its being used at the moment.

WDS establishes another connection between the accesspoints that allow them
to
send to each other, independent of the accesspoint function. If you have
cat5 in
all locations, just set the aps up with the same ssid and keys and you
should be
rocking, if they are connected by cable then you want to use different
channels
so activity on one AP doesnt slow down the others.

It will associate with one or the other and be fine, it will usually hang
on
to
one ap till the signal from it gets too bad, then re-associate with the
better
one. There is no controlled handoff like there is on mobile phone systems
where
the second one will see the device and arrange it to move. There will be
interuption to connectivity while the mobile PC changes accesspoints, but
as

long as they are connected to the same ethernet segment then windows seems
to be
able to keep tcp sessions open across APs

Yup, but as you say elsewhere - different channels!
