I had one of these from about 5 years back but without the temp colour
change, think it was from the Ideal Home show.  They do work in that you
can't overfill the bath -  the version I had used a magnetic hold
arrangement.  The only thing that wasn't too good was that when
activated at say 18" of water it would empty down to say 6"
before
closing again.   So if you filled your bath and then got in it (and
displaced a lot of water like me) then the bath would empty to ankle
depth around you :-(
