In order....

1	Text is fine for me. The verbal instructions are loud and clear -
much louder than the size of the unit suggests.

2	No integration with other devices - so not traffic aware.

3	Mounting bracket, including power lead, suction-cup fixing to
windscreen. Single button release of the main unit to this bracket. There
is an optional bracket available that also brings out the GPS aerial. I
guess there may be a future option for better integration with the car.

4	I always pack the device away but leave the bracket fixed to the
windscreen.

I have looked at the TomTom in Dixons and the text looks quite small, how
easy are they to use?? SWMBO has to wear glasses to read small text close
up
(books etc), but cannot get on with Varifocals and the like so doesn't wear
glasses to drive.

Also does the Tom Tom give verbal instructions??

IS Tom Tom traffic aware? can it be hooked up to routemaster or TMC

Final question, how permanent a fixture is the tom Tom? does it have to be
taken down and taken with you every time you leave the car like a mobile
phone or is it firmly fixed to the car??

Cheers

Paul
