Same here, and I don't really understand it. I'm happy viewing 720x480
XviD/DivX material with AC3 sound tracks on a 750MHz Duron using Zoom
Player under Windows and also on a 1GHz Athond using Xine on Linux. Quite
why a Epia system, with h/w accelerated MPEG2 (and MPEG4 on the new
systems) would struggle is beyond me.

People who do benchmarking seem to say "no" but people who use
Freevo/Freevix/miniMyth seem to say "yes".

I'm going to wait for Nano-ITX. (and wait, and wait)
