Re: Mini-itx and DVD streaming

I bought a Chyang Fun 7989 EPIA M mini-ITX case.
I replaced all three fans. CPU, PSU and case with Papst ones from=20
www.PCSilent.de.
It was annoying to have to do this, (why do they not use quieter ones=20
in the first place), but it wasn't too pricey =A340 for all 3.
It's still not silent, but it's much much better. i.e. not a problem in=20
a play room.
If I was to put one in our main room, then I would investigate silent=20
options.
Now I see there are more case and psu options, so it might be easier...
I run s-video and stereo out to the telly. Then I use remote desktop=20
from a Mac to run the DVDshrink program whenever I need to rip a new=20
dvd. So no need for local VGA screen.
