Blimey - I think I'd baulk at that length journey, unless I worked right
next to Paddington station!  When I chose where to live, I set an upper
limit of an hour for the train part.  My parents (who live in Tonbridge
Wells) thought we were mad living so far out of London, until I pointed out
that my train was quicker than theirs!

A lot of my fellow commuters do a journey from Leicester every day (90
minutes), and there was even one guy who commuted from Matlock - well over
2
hours each way!
