The 7805 is 1 amp 5V....... the 78L05 is 100mA 5V

Two versions of these chip...OTP One Time Programmable and Eprom...* i
think* JW is the eprom version..If you dont need to develope code then use
the OTP .....If using the eprom versio theres a calibration value
programmed
into it which needs to be recorded........

Not sure on this one Rob maybe Keith or someone might advise...I use
Polysterene for my ir oscillators as they tend not to drift with changes in
temp........
