RE: VPN setup
Just checked the details of the router and it supports the GRE prorocol
to allow VPN pass through but cannot see anything on the menus for the
router. Do you think I need to enable something, the NAT seetings
options are for TCP or UDP and currently I'm doing 1723 on TCP.
Cheers
Martin

What type of router is it? I've just setup a VPN via a linksys router,
and that turned out to be a bit of a nightmare. I had to *downgrade*
the firmware of the router to get it to work.
It's got something to do with VPN using protocol GRE over port 1723.
Not all routers support GRE. If I remember correctly seeing the
authentication message, but the user not actually being authenticated is
a pretty good sign that the GRE protocol is not being passed though.
