Re: Re: New Regs to kill DIY HA?

I find this whole idea of government trying to protect people from
themselves as absolutely ludicrous - go to sunny Spain, and there are
power cables hanging out of walls and sticking up out of pavements, the
bathrooms not only have light switches but power sockets as well, and
I've yet to go there and find the streets and toilets strewn with
bodies. Most deaths from electrocution are probably the result of
terminal stupidity on the part of the victim, and all the Part Ps in the
world ain't gonna make 'em any smarter - if anything, the price of
professional help will go up and encourage the DIY approach. I suppose
the good news is that, if all the planks electrocute themselves,
preferably before breeding, then the average IQ of the remaining gene
pool would rise and electrocutions become less commonplace. Is that Mr
Darwin I hear calling? :-)
