Tivo Help!

Hi,

After my Tivo suffering a third hard drive problem in 2 years
(tick-tick-tick-tick and no boot-up) and now needing another replacement,
it's beginning to lose WAF big time!

So far I've gone through Samsung, Maxtor and IBM (Hitachi) drives, all 120
gig.  The Samsung lasted about a year, the Maxtor 5 months and the IBM 7
months.

Am I just unlucky, doing something incredibly wrong, or could it be an
indication of a more serious problem with the Tivo itself?  The Tivo is
used
fairly heavily and is always left on if that might make a difference.....


Also, if anybody can help out with copies of the following programs (either
for download or posting on dvd / vcd / video / etc) to pacify SWMBO I'd be
extremely grateful!

Battlestar Galactica - episode from around 6th December (Sky 1)
Hex - final episode of the series from a few weeks back (Sky 1)
The 4400 - pilot double episode (Sky 1)
The 4400 - episode 2 from around the 28th November (Sky 1)
The 4400 - episode 3 from around the 5th December (Sky 1)
The 4400 - episode 4 last night 12th December (Sky 1)
QI - episode from Friday night 10th December (BBC 3?)
Jonathon Ross - episode from Friday night 10th December (BBC 1)
