I only made the comment about the iPod was in relation to the fact
that in the earlier versions of iPod, when the battery died there
was no chance of getting a replacement, so naturally that would
render it "unrepairable". Serious flaw in both design and
customer
care in my view. When NiMH batteries are so common and generally
have a 2/3 year life span, it seems silly for the manufacturer not
to "allow" the sale of these units as spares.
How do you go about getting the ProntoPro repaired, even though it
may not be cheap?
