I got the FXO and FXS mixed up in my last post. What I thought was an
FXO card is in fact FXS and vice-versa (they're not marked). So the
interface to the analogue phone interface is the same as a standard
ethernet plug, and the interface to the exchange is a single RJ45.

The single port FXO card on its own retails at USD 99... I haven't
seen anything cheaper.
