Re: VOIP FXS Gateways that support SIP
Hi Dan,
The Q values is the probability, or likelihood, thay a user can be found at
this phone. The value has to be between 0.0 and 1.0 and is used by proxies
to call phones in the correct sequence (sequential and parallel forking)
As far as I can see with X-lite you cannot set this value at all. I don;t
know about Cisco phones but would be suprised if you could not set it on
them. Have a look, they may call it probability or something like that.
IIRC is there is no probability set when the phone registers then the
default of 1.0 is used. As an example a registration when looking at a
registrar would look something like this:
<sip:computer@192.168.72.189:5060;line=2>;expires=2761;q=1.0;description=Available
