Welcome to the list Joe. I too use HV and have had similar problems from
time to time, one appliance module in particular just sometimes refuses to
play ball, it's not a critical one though so I couldn't care less.

I had a TW523 on HV and I was getting a load of hassles with weak signals,
modules not responding and, in particular, the RCS X10 stat I changed that
to the new Euro one, the XM10E from Laser and the problems have magically
disappeared more or less, apart from the one dodgy module. To be fair that
could be the module that's at fault and not to do with anything else, I
just
CBA to find out, which shows how important it is. ;)

Also, watch where the TW523/XM10E is plugged in, I found it far batter
plugged straight into a wall socket as opposed to on a strip with other
stuff on it as well, particularly transformers, some of which can degrade
or
kill the X10 signal IME.
