Hi Pedro,

      I would be most interested to know how you get on here and what sort
of products you actually find for lighting and UPnP. I had a good look a
while back at the spec and even played a little bit with some stuff but in
the end it was going to be a long task. I have no doubt that it is a
fantastic concept and there are some big name behind it - including
obviously Microsoft.

      I have found that most everything I would want to be able to do can
be accommodated with xAP and hence have gone that route, plus it's something
that almost anyyone can code to and implement whereas UPnP is very complex -
at least 100K of code in an embedded solution and Ethernet based. Of course
when the xAP / Clipsal gateway is available then it all comes together and
if the Clipsal UPnP integration were there too then we'd both be happy.

      Keep me up to date on any developments here.
