Yep - This is a very valid point. I think both X camps are working
on killer app's and perhaps more importantly making xAP and xPL accessible
and useable to less technical users. The existing X users , who are pushing
the boundaries are fairly technical people and of course are building and
adapting to their own particular needs.  Taking a complex 'anything' and
making it simple to use and accessible to all is amazingly difficult and
much more time consuming then developing the complex 'anything' in the

Of course it=92s a bit chicken and egg - if you're unsure quite how
many people are interested even if you offered the right tools. Trying to
offer cross platform solutions is also a real challenge. Bearing in mind
there is no 'reward' beyond seeing the protocol becoming established and

associated 'warm' feelings when you see someone achieves a solution using X
in their particular HA setup.  A =A31 to a Big Issue seller achieves
simila=
r
things in shorter timescales.
