After the tales of woe regarding lightening strikes I followed the link and
bought the surge protected/ clean earth sockets from Screwfix, however when
I look at them I haven't the first idea how to fit them!  Sorry to be a
pleb, but can someone please provide some guidance?

The panel has 4 wire terminals on the back (E, L, N and Clean Earth) and
the surge protector module has 3 wire tails (ELN - well Brown, blue and
Green).
