Ah !!

This makes more sense now !

I dont ofter see the news on TV. I generally only see the news on=20
BBC1 in the mornings, hear the news on the radio during the day, and=20
then see the local teatime news (BBC Look East).

Being a TiVo owner I almost never watch live TV in the evenings.

I thought you were forward planning following the warning after the=20
American power cuts that the UK could suffer power cuts in the middle=20
of winter, didnt realise that London had suffered a massive power=20
failure.  :-(

Looks like the price of generators may start to rise in the short=20
term. Best I get to Makro and buy one of the generators that they=20
usually have available for around =A3200. 2.4kVA I think.
