We've had that experience.

In true UKHA style, I had rigged up a camera in our leanto porch to
watch the neighbours cats coming and going. It was a period during
which we were catless, our last pair having departed several months
previously.

Anyway, heres a link to a photo of Bimbo, the cat in question

Back to the plot. The camera had been rigged, and switched on, and
displayed on the telly. We were stunned to see that the late Bimbo
was sitting behind the door looking at us. The photo of the
television isnt great, and wasnt as clear as the real thing, but you
get the drift. Behind the door bottom right there is a cat, you can
clearly see eys and whiskers, and the outline of a mouth and body.

To say stunned is probably an underestimate. We were creeped.
Favorite cat coming back from the grave for a visit. It was a very
surreal experience.

Quickly dashing out to the back porch, there was (of course) no
Bimbo. Even though observation of the TV showed he was still
clearly there.

Getting up on a ladder and taking a piccy with digicam from about
where the video camera was gave this.

Although the image as a whole is very clear, Bimbo has become
somewhat fuzzy.

Heres what was really behind that door:

But to this day, we all believe Bimbo came back and visited us...

<cue twilight zone music>

David.
Still missing old bimbi.
