If they were so concerned about people opening up x-box's and wiring in
hardware mods, then why didn't they make it harder to get the guts of the
machine.  After assembling the mother board, couldn't they just spray the
whole thing with something sticky like wax.  The hackers then wouldn't be
able to get near the pins etc to install there chips.

I think Microsoft hopes that all the hacking will shift more X-Box's which
they can then use to persuade the rest of the world that X-Box is a
success.

Just an idea.
