Subject: Re: [ukha_d] [OT] Composite Video to VGA

I've just bought a Prolink PlayTV Box (=A365 + VAT). It has inputs for=20
composite video + stereo audio, S-Video, Antenna (for tuning analogue=20
terrestrial or cable) and VGA + audio from a PC. It has VGA and stereo
audio=20
out.

So basically you can connect games box, VCR, digital video camera, PC
etc to=20
it and watch any of them (+ TV from its internal tuner) on your PC
monitor=20
and listen to the sound from all of them via whatever sound system you
have.

Max. res. is 1024 x 768, which would be fine for many monitors. I tried=20
attaching it to an 18" LCD with native resolution of 1280 x 1024 and
the

picture quality from the internal tuner was still excellent, which
surprised me.

Cheers,

Bruno Prior
