RE: MP3 normalisation

Sound forge is excellent - it also includes a batch prog that can be
easily setup to do this (and whatever else you want at the same time).

Subject: [ukha_d] MP3 normalisation

Hi,

Does anyone know of a tool I can use to normalise my _entire_
collection?

I have seen per album normalisation proggies, but I really want to do it
across
the board because it is very annoying when playing back tracks from a
variety
of albums to have the volume alter drastically all the time :(
This is particularly noticable on My Bloody Valentine Cd's which,
despite being
music made for playing loudly, are recorded at ridiculously low levels,
so you
whack up the volume to hear them, and then are deafened when the next
track is
>from

cheers,
