Damn you -- damn you all, that's not the answer I was hoping for - I'm
jealous :-)

Thanks all for testing, I remain at a complete loss :-[
It's not privacy type things coz on my home machine I don't set any of that
stuff up.
I have no real control over the work environment so fair enough there
perhaps....but I did install another browser (can't remember the name, it
was
one of the few I could find that was not a .exe download - can't d/l exe's
in
work, only zips....) which ISTR was also based on spyglass code & got
exactly
the same result.
At home however, on one of the dodgy machines, I downloaded netscape &
that
worked fine.  Shame it's not my browser of choice :-(

Just thought of another common factor - all my machines (barring the one
that
works) have the .Net framework installed - either the runtime or the dev
environment - that makes under the hood changes - perhaps someone with IE6
AND .Net could try????
