All this is AFAICT - I've got an old Oioneer OnD box, which works OK=20
but is far from SOTA!

The general consensus over on uk.tech.digital-tv is that the Labgear=20
DTT100 (available for less than =A3100) is the best of the current=20
bunch, so long as you can put up with only having one SCART socket.=20
The Daewoo/Triax SetPal is a close runner-up.

If you need two SCARTs (A TV one and a VCR one) then the Thomson DTI-
1000, the Nokia 221T and the Grundig 1000 / 1500 are all pretty good.=20
(The Thomson is in effect an updated Grindig, as Thomson bought the=20
STB factory from Grindig towards the end of last year.)

The NetGem is the best of the computer-connected boxes, while Nebula=20
make the best PCI card.

has some useful info.
