Thanks Paul, that looks like it's pretty much what I'm after.  So to get
this clear in my head, I simply plug this into the PC, and run wires
>from limitation on the wires?  I'm asking because I'd quite like to run a
couple of wires to a contact switch and PIR in the garage, and that's
about 100 feet from the house.
