Luckily, not being instrument or IMC rated, I didn't have to cope with
bad
weather during simulated engine failure after takeoff practices. It was
bad enough trying to keep an eye on the airspeed, radioing a distress
call, finding a good spot to land, running through the pre-crash
checklist
and keeping a watch on the irritated farmer who might take a shot at
you
during the full-powered climb out.
